Anyone have one in a mancave/room/dorm? I'm basically going to be putting the mini fridge under my desk in my room (I want one thats small, or at least shorter than 27" (height of my table)).
Only 2 criteria: Can fit a liter of alcohol (Black Label) and quiet enough to put in a bedroom (which is why I'm asking you people who dorm, especially)
Theres a bunch of fridges on amazon, but I'm not too sure if they're quiet. With school starting up and kids going to college, I was wondering what you guys have/are buying.

I've got a Danby just like in your pic, but in white. It never makes any noise. I don't know why I never hear a compressor coming on, but I don't.
Mine's a taller than 27", but they come in different sizes. I think that I've seen identical ones branded by Haier.

Further to my other reply, it seems that some mini fridges use compressors, and some use thermoelectric cooling. For instance, here's two seemingly identical 2.7 cu. ft. Haier fridges that would suit your dimensional needs. One features "compressor cooling" , and the other doesn't seem to.
I'm guessing my quiet one is thermoelectric.

Whiskey kept in the fridge? You could probably get a smaller fridge and just invest in some whiskey stones, it might save you some money. And it's classy as hell.
